Even though Toyota has been electrifying their vehicles for decades, the bZ4X is Toyota's first all electric car.
March 2023 San Diego California - First things first, I think that bZ4x is a terrible name and after being immersed in it for a while I still have a hard time rememerbing the name of this car, it just doesn't roll off your tongue. bZ by the way is short for ''Beyond Zero'' which is Toyota's goal. From this point on I'm just going to call it the BZ. The new EV is built off of Toyota's E-TNGA fully dedicated EV platform. I really like the fact that Toyota decided to go with a SUV for their first EV since that's what the majority of buyers want these days. Compared to the popular RAV4, the BZ is actually a couple of inches longer and has a 4'' longer wheelbase providing more room in between for the passengers. This is part #1 of a 2 part video of teh new Toyota bZ4X. On Part#2, we will take it for a drive a share our experiences.
